Abstract: Objective: To identify in the literature the type of method most used for thromboprophylaxis in neurosurgery. Methods: For the elaboration of this research were used scientific articles, available in the databases Pubmed/MEDLINE, LILACS and SciELO, published between 2010 and 2019. Results:For the discussion of the results, 08articles were selected using the inclusion criteria pre-established.In the majority of studies associate more than one tromboprofilático method, is the use of compressive stockings, Intermittent pneumatic compression, low molecular weight heparin, unfractionated heparin or oral anticoagulants, however the pharmacological methods are not yet totally safe to use, because, as emphasized in the speeches of the studies shown here, the cases of pharmacological prophylaxis must be evaluated individually. Conclusion: More investigations are necessary to evaluate which is the safest method to beused in neurosurgery.

Abstract: Objective: To demonstrate the new strategies of evaluation and perioperative management, highlighting some of the stratification of risk present in the literature. Method: a review of the literature, with pursuit of studies in the LILACS, MEDLINE, BDENF and recent guidelines published, in english and portuguese that addressed the theme of study. Results: A large number of patients are referred for surgery without comprehensive evaluation, this study brought some of the risk stratifications of high complexity, but low density, enabling its execution. Conclusion: Through this study it was possible to observe how the application of risk stratifications increases safety and improves perioperative assistance.

Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Surgical procedures are performed in large quantities all over the world, thus, the risks of infections increase, which generates divergence in treatment, prolongation ofhospitalization, costs among others. Hip arthroplasty is a major surgery, which nowadays hasnew materials and techniques to carry outa safer procedure, and to make infection rateslower. However, every surgery is likely to develop infections, and when the etiologic agent isrecognized, treatment is more targeted and concise. OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study is toanalyze the profile of surgical infections in hip arthroplasty. METHODS: It is an integrative review of studies available on the Virtual Health Library (VHL) platform, using LILACS,PUBMED and SCIELO databases, with the descriptors; Infection, Arthroplasty and Hip. Thearticles covered in the results are from publications referring to the years 2015 to 2020, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. RESULTS: Samples related to the theme ofthe study showed Arterial Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and Smoking as the risk factors most associated with patients undergoing hip arthroplasty, as the choice for antibioticprophylaxis, cefazoline was used in most cases and Staphylococcus aureus as the most commonly found agent in cultures. CONCLUSIONS: We conclude that it is highly relevant tomaintain care in the postoperative period and in case of signs of infection, early culture favors treatment.
