Abstract: The present case aims to report a type of hernia uncommon within all hernias, femoral hernia with the presence of the appendix in its content, diagnosis and treatment performed at the Sobradinho Regional Hospital in 2019. Information obtained through medical record review, anamnesis, intraoperative photographs, literary review. The hernia consists of protrusion of an intra-abdominal content by an anatomically constituted space. Among all hernias we have the rare Garengeot hernia, which is the presence of the Cecal appendix as part of the hernial content of the femoral hernia, corresponding to about 0.9%, associated with acute appendicitis about 0.1%. Diagnosis may be incidental during surgical approach of femoral hernia or mainly by imaging, as the clinical diagnosis is very difficult. Treatment for Garengeot's hernia is not standardized, a decision made by the surgeon intraoperatively, some choosing to retain the Cecal appendix if possible except in the case of association with acute appendicitis, others opting for resection even without acute appendicitis. associated.

Abstract: The gallbladder is an intra-abdominal organ with the function of storing the bile produced by the liver, whose usual location is below the right hepatic lobe lateral to the sickle cell ligament. Cholecystitis consists of inflammation of the gallbladder, withthe main origin being calculus gallbladder disease. The gallbladder located medially to the sickle cell ligament (sinistroposition) is a rare condition, corresponding to about 0.3% in a study conducted with patients undergoing video laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The diagnosis of this condition isusually made incidentally during imaging exams or during intra-abdominal surgeries. Recognizing this condition will bringthe surgeon the expertise to deal with eventual adversity. Commonlywhen faced with this condition, the surgeon has to perform a broader dissection, perform intraoperative cholangiography for even conversion to open surgery for better recognition of the anatomy.

Abstract: Introduction: Tracheobroncomegaly or Mounier-Kuhn syndrome is a rare disease, mainly observed in middle-aged men before the 5th decade of life, characterized by atrophy or absence of elastic fibers or smooth muscles of the trachea wall and main bronchi. dilation of these structures. Weakness of connective tissue, associated with inhalation of air pollutants and cigarette smoke, is believed to be the major factors in the development of this syndrome. Diagnosis may be occasional in asymptomatic individuals, but often with recurrent respiratory infections and bronchiectasis. Description: A.H.A.G., 65, male, single, white. Reported chronic cough with increased frequency 10 days ago associated with an increase in sputum, currently greenish. He also complained of uncontrolled daily irregular fever, dyspnea on exertion, and night sweats. Patient mentions a diagnosis of bronchiectasis, but has not adhered to HRT ambulatory follow-up since 2015. Conclusion: Mounier-Kuhn syndrome is characterized by increased diameter of the tracheaand main bronchi associated with reduced mucociliary clearance, which leads to the individual to develop respiratory infections frequently. The diagnosis is made by chest CT. The treatment is only performed in the symptomatic, aiming to treat the triggering factor of decompensation.

Abstract: Objective: to describe a case of a 39-year-old patient undergoing assisted reproduction who presented visual changes that began after two days of using clomiphene citrate. Method: observational and descriptive study, of the case report type, about a patient who presented side effects after starting clomiphene citrate for ovarian stimulation. Result: clomiphene citrate is often used as a treatment in ovulatory and anovulatory women. Like any drug, it can have side effects and visual changes are the least common among them. Conclusion: visual disturbances experienced by a small percentage while using the medication can represent a serious complication for the patient.
