Abstract: On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the new virus, not previously present in humans, the 2019-nCoV as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). The rapid spread of the disease forced the regulation of new alternatives for work, education and daily routines in general to meet the urgencies of the new reality. Telemedicine becamea reality on the rise during the pandemic. The demand for remote service has grown significantly in this period and has become essential to ensure social distancing. The objective of the research was to demonstrate the importance of telemedicine as an innovative tool in the fight against the pandemic caused by the new Coronavirus in the Aparecida de Goianiacity.

Abstract: Objective: to identify the clinical-epidemiological profile of patients hospitalized with covid-19 in a public emergency room in the Federal District, in the periods of highest incidence, between 2020 and 2021. Methodology: descriptive study carried out from the analysis of data from 382 patient records admitted to the emergency room. The patients’ sociodemographic and clinical variables were collected. Data were summarized on the Google Forms platform and subsequently organized in Microsoft Excel 2013 software. Data were analyzed using the SPSS version 21.0 statistical program. Results: the majority of the population assisted lived in the region of Ceilândia, male, aged between 41 and 80 years, with at least one chronic non-communicable disease, with emphasis on obesity. Conclusion: most people infected with covid-19 lived in the region close to the hospital, were male, aged between 41 and 80 years old and had some kind of morbidity.

Abstract: The body image concept extends beyond the physical characteristics. Thus, body dissatisfaction is present in both genders and commonly begins in the early stages of life, being a risk factor for the development of eating disorders, such as bulimia and anorexia. This study evaluated the level of body dissatisfaction among health professionals in multiprofessional residency programs in the Federal District, Brazil. The sample were professionals in multidisciplinar health residency programs (from 2020 to 2022) from Escola Superior de Ciências da Saúde (ESCS) – Health and Science College (ESCS) and FioCruz, in Brasília, DF, Brazil, considering the scenario of the covid-19 pandemic. Data were collected through an electronic form, as well as the application of the Body Shape Questionaire (BSQ). The results show that the majority (87.3%) of the participants were female and 12.7% were male and that 63.5% of the participants demonstrated some level of body dissatisfaction. Furthermore, 84.6% of the high body dissatisfaction was attributed to the female gender. Changes in eating habits during the pandemic were mainly increased food consumption and orders for fast food, in addition to guilt when eating.
