      <description>Título: Risco de úlcera nos pés e infusão contínua de insulina: avaliação em portadores de DM1
Autor(es): Souza, Alessandra Guntzel de

Abstract: Objectives: To identify the risk of ulcer in individuals with DM1 in use of continuous &#xD;
subcutaneous insulin infusion in the Federal District, Brazil.  &#xD;
Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study with 18 patients with continuous subcutaneous &#xD;
insulin infusion in the Distrito Federal, enrolled in the Secretary of Health of Distrito Federal &#xD;
Diabetes Program, a study carried out in the Specialized Center for Diabetes, Obesity and &#xD;
Hypertension of Secretary of Health of Distrito Federal, between September 2017 and &#xD;
February 2018.  &#xD;
Results: No patient presented diabetic polyneurophaty or peripheral artery disease, only 5 &#xD;
(27,7%) presented neuropathic pain. The loss of protective sensation was absent in 20 (100%) &#xD;
of the individuals, the most common clinical findings during foot inspection were the &#xD;
presence of callosity 12 (66,6%) and presence of dry skin 14 (77,7%).  &#xD;
Conclusions: 18 (100%) of the study population was classified as 0 risk for the development &#xD;
of the foot ulcer, which reveals the importance of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion as &#xD;
a facilitator in diabetes control, preventing chronic complications and especially the &#xD;
development of ulcers on feet.

      <description>Título: Assistência de enfermagem a um paciente portador de úlcera venosa crônica: um relato de caso

Abstract: Varicose ulcer (UV), presents as a late complication of chronic venous insufficiency, which may arise spontaneously or traumatically. The evaluation of the varicose ulcer patient can be done by the nurse and should contain the data collection and detailed physical examination of the lower limbs, should be ample and investigate the history of venous disease and life habits. This article aims to describe the nursing consultation of a person with chronic varicose ulcer. It is a qualitative and exploratory-descriptive study combined, carried out in a Basic Health Unit, lasting approximately 36 days, between July 2017 and August 2017. The case consisted of a patient who was a carrier of UV submitted to treatment with hydrocolloid dressings and hydrocellular foam with polyurethane. Data collection was done through a photographic record in the researcher's cell phone, and the photos were recorded during the treatment. Authorization was requested in a document authorized by the Ethics and Research Committee of SES / DF, for use of free image, preceded by a verbal explanation of the objectives and methods of the study. UV treatment is long and also requiring changes in lifestyle, including physical activity, proper nutrition, and then the use of compressive therapy. Hence, nurses have the role of facilitating this information by means of a systematized assistance based on the nursing process through an integral approach to the user.
