| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Objetivo: analisar as percepções de estudantes do 1º ao 4º ano do curso de medicina de uma Instituição de Ensino Superior (IES) pública brasileira sobre o clima educacional durante o período de Ensino Remoto Emergencial (ERE) imposto pela pandemia de COVID-19. Método: foram realizados 6 grupos focais com 35 estudantes, entre os meses de dezembro de 2020 e janeiro de 2021, os quais foram gravados e transcritos, com posterior análise de discurso. Resultados: os estudantes trouxeram visões majoritariamente negativas, destacando problemas nos três domínios que compõem um clima educacional: relacionamentos, orientação a objetivos e organização / regulação. Abordaram com frequência as repercussões da pandemia sobre a saúde mental dos estudantes e os efeitos no aprendizado. Conclusão: os estudantes perceberam diversos aspectos negativos no clima educacional da sua instituição no período de ERE. |
| Abstract: | Objective: To analyze the perceptions of students from the 1st to the 4th year of the medical course at a public Brazilian Higher Education Institution (IES) regarding the educational climate of their college during the period of Emergency Remote Teaching imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: Six focus groups were conducted with 35 students between December 2020 and January 2021. These sessions were recorded, transcribed, and subsequently subjected to discourse analysis. Results:The students expressed predominantly negative views, highlighting issues in the three domains that constitute aneducational climate: relationships, goal orientation, and organization/regulation. They frequently addressed the repercussions of the pandemic on students' mental health and how it affected their learning experience.Conclusion:The students identified various negativeaspects in the educational climate of their institution during the period of Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT). |
