| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Objetivo: avaliar a literatura sobre efetividade do Sistema Intrauterino Liberador de Levonorgestrel para o tratamento do sangramento uterino anormal. Método: Scoping Review de artigos extraídos das bases de dados PUBMED, Cochrane e Lilacs, publicados até setembro de 2019. Aplicado o protocolo PRISMA, selecionados dez artigos nos quais o SIU-LNG foi utilizado no SUA. Resultados: o SIU-LNG é uma opção terapêutica custo-efetiva, considerada de primeira linha de tratamento em alguns países. No Brasil, esse medicamento não é disponível no sistema público de saúde. Conclusões: as evidências sugerem que este medicamento pode reduzir a exposição das mulheres tratamentos invasivos. |
| Abstract: | Objective: to evaluate the literature available about Intrauterine Levonorgestrel Releasing Intrauterine System’s effectiveness for the ab-normal uterine bleeding - AUB treatment. Methods: a Scoping Review was carried out in the PUBMED, Cochrane and Lilacs databases, including articles published until September 2019. After applying the PRISMA protocol, were selected ten articles in which the LNG-IUS was used for this treatment. Results: the review showed that LNG-IUS is a cost-effective therapeu-tic option and is even considered the first line of treatment in some countries. In Brazil, this medication is not available in the public health system. |
